Makai is one of the worlds involved in the story. Residents from this world include characters from Genpei Tōma Den, Shadow Land, Darkstalkers, and Ghosts 'n Goblins. In Epilogue 3, Enma Dai-Ō gives Andaba the order to send Tarosuke with Taira no Kagekiyo.
