After Druaga was killed and the Blue Crystal Rod became one again, Quox returned to his original good nature, and can be seen in one of the rooms in The Return of Ishtar. In The Blue Crystal Rod, Gil and Ki can talk with Quox in the remains of the Tower of Druaga.
