Robot Band PicPac in Namco Museum Vol. 4.

The Robot Band PicPac (ロボットバンド・ピクパク?) is an animatronic band formed by Namco in 1984, first appearing at a Japanese amateur robotics convention in November of that year. The band performed at entertainment centers in Japan between 1984 and 1986. They were eventually sold to an unidentified Southeast Asian company; their last known public appearance was at a Taiwanese department store in 1994.

PicPac consists of nine robots of five different types (three performers, one host, and five backup singers). The robots were designed by Shigeki Toyama, and their scenario and music were supervised by Norio Nakagata. Two of their songs are documented: "PicPac's Theme" (ピクパクのテーマ) and "Robot March" (ロボット・マーチ). "PicPac's Theme" was written by EPO and composed by Nobuyuki Shimizu, and "Robot March" was written and composed by Taeko Ohnuki. The band appears in the theater of the video game Namco Museum Vol. 4, where a recreated performance of both of these songs can be viewed.
